π© Human Trafficking Warning Signs & Indicators
Trafficking often masquerades behind independent advertising. Look for these critical behavioral, psychological, and situational indicators:
The companion is constantly monitored, guarded, or escorted. A third party handles all phone calls, messaging, booking inquiries, or financial exchanges. The individual is never permitted to speak alone.
Identification cards, driver's licenses, passports, mobile phones, or earnings are held by someone else. The person may not know what hotel or city they are currently staying in.
The individual expresses fear of physical retribution or being penalized if unrealistic financial quotas or daily revenue demands are not met. They feel trapped by impossible fabricated debts.
Visible bruising, physical injuries, severe sleep deprivation, untreated medical needs, or branding/monogram tattoos indicating third-party possession or pimp control.
Displays signs of acute anxiety, terror, submissiveness, or delivers rehearsed answers. Expresses profound fear for the safety of their children, family members, or loved ones.
The individual appears to be under 18 years of age, mentions high school or teenage activities, or claims to be "fresh 18" under suspicious adult control. Zero tolerance applies immediately.
